Joe Cole was talking on his podcast few weeks or months ago and said that there wasn't player power at chelsea, now franks gone his said touchel will have the same fate with player power even said that when frank took over we were in a mess and lost our best player, seem to remember finishing 3rd and with european trophy, martin keown Tony cascarino and Micah Richards all slammed our performance v wolves and said we won't win anything under touchel,

Honestly, I won't be surprised if we don't finish in top 4 this season, but the next one is harder to guess at this point.
But the main point is that the board and RA's decision making has been abysmal recently and for me personally, I can't see what's our direction. We go from manager to manager and hope that we get a few trophies here and there, but the main problem that is our unbalanced squad without leaders remains the same.
4 managers in 5 years is quite a record.

Who do you think the media will blame
For us not getting top 4? Frank or TT, the man who took us 1st to 9th and having played more and with spurs arsenal Southampton all having form dipped or the man who’s had one training session and match. Everyone likes the young English manager snd couldn’t see how poorly we’d been and how clueless he was, I want us to rubbish all these up with some good results and performances, but I do think frank cost us top 4 already,

The media will blame anyone that sells newspapers or gets clicks.
TT will be continuously judged by some fans but I think he has to be given time to settle into the Premiership.
Roman will judge him the way he judges all managers.

Why’s frank being talked about like he was a messiah thou, I’m telling you know if he was foreign he wouldn’t be getting so much love and nobody even talking about how he was put his depth and tactically poor, god I hope we best Burnley.

Getting really fed up with this Lamps bashing. TT has the same problems as Frank and that is that Chelsea do not have the players to challenge for the PL yet they have spent a fortune. The recruitment since 2016 has been diabolical. Conte wanted Van Dijk and Lukaku he got Rudiger and Morata. That half wit Sarri did get who he wanted Jorginho and Higauin, one was hopeless the other was fat and hopeless, we are still left with one. The in came Kepa, I’m not even going to go there. Some £330m has been wasted in players who never help improve the club. Chelsea are still dealing with the fallout. Also The board have failed to get rid of this deadwood to free up the berths, I would have taken nominal fees for the lot of them, Zappa, Emerson, Alonso, Kepa, Rudiger, Jorginho. If you had averaged £10m for the lot you would have had £60m. Frank Lampard identified Chillwell, Rice, and would have liked Tarkowski and Aubameyang to challenge for the PL, he got one of them, and he has worked. The team cannot deal with physicality because they do not have a tough tackling HM who has presence, who screens and allows Kante to fight hunt and fight fires. Now the club is building a Bundesliga team. By the time they have recruited form that league TT will be on his bike the club will have another manager. In the meantime RLC, Ampadu, and Billy G will be down to a roll of the dice.

Lampard identified them did he, my problem is why are the media not pointing out that frank done a bad job, they use us being 1st only 6 weeks ago as a success, and ignore the fact we’re now 11points off top and played more than others, they don’t mention he was clueless tactically, it’s blind blinkered fans who saw the player on the sides not the manager, we only got 4th last year ( on the last day ) because Leicester collapsed after lockdown with injuries, spurs and arsenal were horrendous, then clowns like Harry redknapp talk up frank but ask how touchel has got the job. Give me a break,

Frank done a bad job?! I think he did very good last year and this year we started well and things fell apart for a multitude of reasons, not just "Frank doing a bad job".
Nothing is ever one dimensional and to think changing managers every year would change anything is just absurd and childlike.
Frank didn't pick the new signings, barring Chilwell, which I remember lots of you didn't want and he had to start all over again with a completely new squad of young players with very little PL experience.
The board, RA, fans and Frank himself knew he was not very experienced in terms of management, but we were going a different route this time that needed patience and time. They didn't give him any of that and they didn't give him the players he wanted. And I'm not going to even get to the part that players did cause problems as well.
So it's pretty hard to do your job decently in these conditions, let alone winning things and being in the top 4.

Lamps the manager is in the past. Lamps the player will always be a legend.
I loved Carlo as our manager. I didn’t want Conte to leave and Sarri was apparently home sick but I moved onto supporting the next manager.
If you think Lamps got a rough deal from the board is irrelevant. If you think TT is the wrong that is also irrelevant.
We can all like or dislike what the club does but we will still end up supporting the club first and foremost.
