Lampard could be getting a quick return to management at Bournemouth.

That would be interesting “J”. It maybe a good place for him to restart his managerial career.

At least his uncle can easily get to the matches.

I've just got a feeling he could be lined up by Palace if Hodgson moves on in the summer.

Would be great if Frank gets back in the saddle quickly and with a decent team though would not want it to be an EPL one. Though I suppose he needs more EPL experience - if to manage CFC one day again - and we could wish him well in every match except those v CFC of course.

I see Alan Hudson commented that had Lamps signed Grealish he would still be in the job? I find Hudson appealing in the simplicity of his thought and comments, and very much for me as a Scot, Alan is the archetypal London football fan or geezer, you might engage with in a boozer close to the local football stadium. I always raise a smile when I hear him speak. As someone born and brought up in Glasgow, before moving to London in my adulthood I of course remember Alan as part of the now iconic 1970 FA cup final Chelsea team. I can honestly say thousands of us school kids up there adopted Chelsea as our English team, which stimulated great rivalry and arguments in our playgrounds as the support of Leeds Utd was just as fierce. You have to consider that Leeds had more Scots in their line up than Chelsea for that FA cup final. Happy days for all us footie fans living five hundred miles away from Wembley. 😂.

To be honest Stephen, I look at Havertz, look at Grealish and wonder if we couldn't have got him from Villa for a similar fee. But I'm also sure Havertz will come good.

I Know what you mean J. To me both players are a bit of a luxury or even an indulgence. They are not bad signings as such but they are the type of player you sign when everything else is in place. Using that logic in reverse, I always remember when the galacticos of Real Madrid sold Makalele. Madrid were described as being a Rolls Royce with the engine taken out.

The press are now putting JT in the frame for the Bournemouth job.

I suppose Lamps would be able to take his time as he is probably still under contract with Chelsea.
