Nothing is sticking to Giroud. Movement is what's going to cause Sheffield Utd problems, wouldn't be surprised to see Giroud off for Ziyech or Hudson-Odoi early in the second half and Server okay through the middle.
Nice to see Mount scuff one into the bottom corner, still needs to work on that technique though 👀.

yeah agree even though Werner hasn't scored. he has looked Sharpe and willing to press. not playing with his head down.
Again I like that . willingness goes along way.

I love Kante Matt but when he came on against the spuds it didn’t help us keep the ball and control.

Good post Tom, agree. I think we should try and play the ball behind Sheffield's defence more. Remember how United bullied them this way. Contrary to what most people thought before the game, Sheffield does not sit deep. They keep the field compact by playing 5-5, we should play the ball much more in behind - Werner's attributes are perfect for this, Giroud not much. Room for Chilwell in behind coming from the left as well.

I said that earlier on the other page. Giroud shouldn't have played . he more pace rather than power. they can defend power not speed.
