Alright, another 3 points and we are back in the top 4.

I think we played good in the first half with a couple of good chances to even score more goal and we could have had a penalty as well.

2nd half was very different, we invited them to attack and we created fewer chances and the level of effort dipped a bit which is understandable to some extent and after 67 minutes we decided to get more defensive.

The team played well overall and the win which was important was achieved.

But let's not get carried away. We are still not looking very great and remember this was a team without their best striker and one of their best defenders and a few more first team players were not playing, and they still could have got a goal.

So the real test is coming. Ateltico then ManU and Atlético then Liverpool.
We have had a good run which was expected regardless of the manager (just compare our results against such teams with previous seasons) . The going is only going to get harder and I would like to see how we react.

Shout out to Kova, AC, CHO and Werner for all playing very well.

We are looking a lot better than the team that was dropping many points recently. Already a massive improvement.

Our recent fixtures have been kind to TT.

It has given him time to look at players while playing some poor sides.

In general the football hasn’t been brilliant to watch but it’s winning that counts.

It's ridiculous to say we have merely got expected results against poor teams given the poor form and lack of confidence under the previous regime.
We were there for the taking and its taken an entirely new formation, putting round pegs in round holes to change that.
Athletico are a very tough outfit much more so than Utd or Liverpool.
I would take two draws against them with anything more a bonus.
It's still very early days for TT as can be seen by our 2nd half performance which he clearly wasn't happy about quite rightly.

The same fixtures that have been kind to TT were not kind to FL when he dropped points against Everton, wolves, villa, Leicester etc. That's That's a fact my friend. Thankfully we are now winning games that we were always expected to win!

Maybe if TT was put in charge of achelsea earlier then we would have been closer to 1st maybe.

So you compare Everton, Villa and Leicester to SU, NU, Burnley and Barnsley which we already won with a much better result and you call it fact?! Do not twist the reality.

I don't have anything against TT and his achievements as a coach, it's just crazy that you guys just twist everything and call it facts.

When I say kind Shak it’s not meant to disrespectful to TT.

They have not been difficult games and they were all game I fully expected us to win.

The fixtures have given time for TT to look at players he might not have played if the fixtures had been tougher.

Kepa playing yesterday is a good example.

Exactly Tom.

When we start recording wins against the tougher opponents then I wonder what the FL brigade will do next 😄🤣😂.

16 Feb 2021 21:43:41
Shak please mate stop this you and us crap.

My point is valid. Playing the so called lesser teams has given TT a chance to look at more players than he probably would have with playing tougher games. It’s a perfectly reasonable assumption!
