Ed001, would like to know if you think Haaland will suit the PL and Chelsea with the way we play.
Also, i think Zapata is a better CF/ S for us.
Happy to hear who you Ed001 and fellow posters think will suit the PL and Chelsea for a strikers position come next season.
{Ed001's Note - he would defo suit the Prem, he is a better version of Vardy. Not so sure he is suited to the way Chelsea play, but he is young and can learn or the style can be adapted.}

Agreed Ed001, i doubt he is suited to the way we play . unless TT changes the way we play and we don't play a high press . and look to invite the opposition back line a bit higher up he pitch so that there is place in behind for Haaland and TW to exploit.
easier said than done though. also need a stronger player in Midfield who can control the pace and link the back and the fwd line . no such player comes to mind rn.

Zapata's lack of movement and pace would not serve him well in the Prem - Haaland a much better bet (although probably about 3 times the price! )

Tielemans is so underated for what he does at Leicester. Vardy, Maddison and Barnes take all the plaudits, and they're all good, but Tielemans makes that team tick.
Do you think Mount could perform a similar role for us Ed?

MDW, we play so high up the pitch, don't think we need a pacy striker . just my observation
think Zapata holds well and is good in the air and can dribble in short spaces . thus my comclusion . abet i've watched him only a few times
J, Mount is better higher up the pitch and doesn't not have the physicallity . that's my trouble with mount. Bakayoko if he did progress would have been key but he didnt.
doubt LC would let Tielemans go . although we were interested in him before his switch to LC.
Ericksen would be another candidate but he is also not strong on the ball and slow.

dareryk I get what you're saying. Mount's been excellent as one of those double 10's, but I don't think physicality is as big a problem in that role when you have someone like Ndidi next to you. We do definitely need a physical presence in the midfield though.
Bissouma is a class act.

Ampadu is ripping up trees at SUFC, he is reported to be pushing for their POY. He is a fit, tough, athletic boy and has been capped by Wales and regularly picked by Giggs, obviously he has played PL football but also has CL experience, beating United btw. I heard Clint Morris on Sky tell a story that their paths crossed, forget where, but Clint outlined basically Ampadu was aged 15/ 16 and he was balling out seasoned pros on the training pitch! Clint said he had all the right ingredients to play at the highest of levels. I would really like to get the boy back to Cobham to be fully checked over on where he is in his development and technical standing. If what is being reported is true on his attributes, then he is a must for consideration toward an upgrade in the HM role which imo is causing a slight problem for Chelsea atm. Those that do happen to read my posts well know that I have burst a blood vessel over not signing Declan Rice, but just maybe this boy is the answer? Even if it might mean after checking him over he needs another season toughening up and getting wise to the PL, I can wait. But Cobham have to be serious about him,? and not just going through the motions to say NO, just because they have got their eye on the next shiny new youngster in far off Europe. Which is my concern with the new coach and the club culture.

Spot on Stephen about Ampadu and the great thing about him is that he is also a really good defender as well.
I think he went on loan because we couldn't offload a few midfielders/ defenders but I think he also needed more regular football.
He should be back with the first team next season.
