Sport bild got a story about haaland saying chelsea don't stand a chance because haaland doesn't see us as one of the top clubs anymore,

Agree0 Disagree0

I’m sure that is just paper talk Matt. I’m also sure he is a player we will be looking at closely.

I have said this several times before, it isn’t a given Haaland will sign for us, Tammy doesn’t have to sign any contract offered to him and Giroud doesn’t have to extend his contract.

I assume the club will be looking at all sorts of contingency’s but I’m sure it will be very interesting to see who our forwards are for next season.

Yea Matt, I read something like that but I don’t think it’s true that Haaland has said anything like that. If Haaland actually did say something like that, then why didn’t he say it in openly? I think If he didn’t say it in the open, it could mean he’s never said something like that at all or he’s scared or cautious or concerned about saying such a thing in the open, and the question would be- why would he be scared or cautious or concerned about saying something like that in the open? The answer is simple- he can’t buy himself (or he can’t pay for his transfer fee to where he wants) . I think the believable thing is what his agent Mino Raiola has said, ‘only ten clubs have the financial strength to sign Haaland’, which means he’s open to the top clubs.

Sometimes, these Sports dailies are funny: by saying ‘Chelsea don’t stand a chance’, I am sure they gave the other clubs that they think stands a chance the money to sign the player (Haaland) whenever he (Haaland) becomes available.

That's rubbish. We are still a big club with lots ambition. remember the lure of london. my concern is the the competitive packages of other rival clubs. I believe Halaand must be aware of the d vacuum and we are always trying to strengthen the squad to be able to compete as as always. i guess the bold want to influence his decision to remain in Germany with Bayern also interested as lewa is not getting younger .

Makes top 4 more important, hopefully Leicester drop off with there injuries, West Ham and we can do some damage to Liverpool’s fight tomorrow night too.

Sorry for the repeat post.

{Ed077's Note - No worries. I didn't realise it was the same post twice}

If we don't make top 4 then we can forget Haaland.

It wouldn't surprise me if Haaland stayed at Dortmund (again dependent on them getting top 4) which would greatly expand his choices the following summer - he is only 20.

{Ed001's Note - they need money desperately.}

My opinion should never be aired more than once Ed. It’s not fair on other posters!

Boring old fart springs to mind.

{Ed077's Note - Hoof hearted?}
