I think we will win the league next season, our squad is young and will start to gel with new signings and other teams need more of a rebuild.
TT will be good for us. for a couple is seasons anyway.

Well Pauly obviously hope you are right but most still think we need to add a proper prolific number 9 like Haaland. And a midfielder. and.?

I'm not that optimistic. This team is far from winning PL soon. Maybe in a couple of years with a great striker and a good DM.

Agree about needing a goal scorer. As for winning PL it depends on the transfer window. The only team to get above is Man City ; not worried about the rest. If City get Haaland we’re all f***ed.

With AC, Rudiger's form and the likelihood of a Silva extension our defense seems somewhat settled for next season, so focus can remain on acquiring forces for CM/ DM and AT positions. Let's finally solve the issues for those two positions, which we have had since that Morata-Bakayoko window.
No discredit to Mendy, but for us to mount a title challenge, we may need a better GK too, however, it might be sufficient with Mendy (letting goals in has for sure not been our issue since TT entered as we all know)

hermann you are spot on. Mendy made a couple of good saves against Leeds but since TT he hasn’t had a lot to do and he makes me nervous when the ball is at his feet; his distribution also can be poor. He certainly isn’t in the top 20 keepers in Europe. I have always believed that if you want to to win trophies you need a top class keeper.
{Ed0666's Note - I think he has a high ceiling personally. He’s certainly steadied the ship after the Kepe calamity. I would give him some time before you flutter you’re eyelids at others.
