We potentially have 17 games to play before the end of a tiring and strange season.
I'm sure TT will manage the players well. It's going to vital to share the game load.
Keeping players fit plus avoiding any suspensions is going to be very important.

The season is still very much in the balance and we could still finish outside the Top4 (main priority) and out of both Cup competitions.
The team looked tired and vulnerable defensively yesterday so it remains to be seen how they react after the International games.
It's been an incredible effort to turn around the mess left by the last regime so let's hope it doesn't take its toll in the last quarter of the season.

I was confused by the TT comment about players being tired after our Champions League game.
How many players played in both games? Also, it’s not as if any traveling was involved.
I’m never a fan of managers saying players are tired. I think it sends out the wrong message. I assume they have in house tests that can check these sort of things out but I would rather it was kept within the dressing room.

Well at least we looked very tired . If not for luck and some poor finishing by the baldes we could have been 2 goals down in the second half.
All said and done . we got the result we wanted and a clean sheet . so that's a plus.
Happy that mount was captain and kept his head and played his usual best.
Giroud was not utilized well . 4 at the back is a system we still need working on.
Int'l break . And we should all be fresh after.

It's not about one game it's the accumulation of a run of very tough games.
He mentioned the issue after the game and before a two week international break so I don't see the problem.
Putting in players like Emerson and Giroud who haven't played recently doesn't help always either.
Mount has looked off the pace for a few games, we had a kid and a tired Kova in midfield so I wasn't surprised we struggled at times.
Tired or not I would have preferred a stronger team but keeping everyone happy is also an important consideration.

I agree Strasbourg keeping players happy/ interested is important and yes dereryk getting through is the thing that matters
With what could be a very demanding final couple of months we need to keep players sharp. To that end I was very pleased that Kepa kept a clean sheet. I hope we don’t but we may have to call on him again before the end of the season.

As I said in a much earlier post. We are in the hat and that’s all that matters.
