Frank Lebeouf words on the consequence of signing Erling Haaland:
"Haaland is a beast. Of course it would be a plus for Chelsea; but now you have to think financially and economically, and you also have to also think and make sure your dressing room is going to be following the coach. "
"If you put Haaland (in the team) you lose [Olivier] Giroud, but you might lose [Kai] Havertz, you might lose Werner as well. What about [Christian] Pulisic? Where are you going to play [Hakim] Ziyech? "
I have to say that after reading these words from Lebeouf, my thought is actually divided on Chelsea signing Erling Haaland coupled with Mino Raiola's baggage. I beginning to wish we have other very good options besides Erling Haaland.

I think Kane will end up and City and at some stage Haaland will be going to Real Madrid. It’s not what I want.
I await the Eds update to put some colour on any potential signings.

I'm sure Chelsea will try to sign Halaand because obviously the team needs him. he's not in direct competition with any of the players mentioned. they are mostly wing players while Halaand is an out and out striker. Even when he plays he can only occupy one position while others can fight for the wing positions. Even if that will bring about competition it will mean anyone who gets the nod it means the player is doing very well to have the position. competition is necessary in any ambitious team. i wouldn't pass up for what I consider frivolous.

Your points are valid ilo; besides, there’s a kind of player you can’t help but push to sign when/ if they become available and Haaland is one of them.

Obinna I don't really get anybody will be genuinely concerned about Halaand. he's the kind of player we need to make us more dangerous in the attack. a proven goalscorer at a vet young age. if T T wants him which I believe every manager would, we should snap him up if we can.

I understand the attraction of signing Haaland but he is a kid who will find the PL a much bigger challenge than the Bundesliga.
More importantly would he compliment the players we have already signed at great expense?
Given the money involved it would require the coach to build the team around him which could see the end of some very high profile signings as Frank has mentioned.
With the current squad I could see Havertz used regularly as a 9/ 10 and playing more like Citeh have this season.
The other issue is that Haaland won't stay around that long 4/ 5 years max before he will want to move on again.
If we are to sign him I hope it's done as a part of a clear strategy with the coaches agreement rather than just acquiring the latest shiney young star.

I have it on very good account from my friend Olive that Halland is the main target for this coming summer. Roman is on a mission to bring him in. Ronaldo is not a target. ðŸ˜.

Some players can adapt to any league which I believe halaand is one of them. He's currently the highest goalscorer in the ucl. i even think he's made for the EPL because of hivskill sets strong, fast and big. and even do nical in front of the goal.
I don't get pesssimisms but I'm ready to take the gamble for Halaand and even if he's moving after few years he would go for a vtecord vfees and we cushion his departure with windfalls like we did with hazard.

Ilo. That’s what I was thinking. We should go all out for Haaland and if he wants to move on in say 4 years sell him for a big profit. I’m sure there will be somebody else around or even an academy player to replace him. Players and managers come and go, it’s all about the club for me.

Perhaps, a lot will come down to:
* if Haaland wants Chelsea
* How much he (Haaland) will cost.
