I was told by someone I trust that the Christensen contract had been agreed and an announcement was just days away. This was about three weeks ago.
The Rudiger contract, if reports are to be believed, has reached stalemate. My guess is he will be leaving the club soon.
Today, I see it's being reported that Dave has rejected the clubs offer of a contract extension.
I'm guessing Silva will sign a further one year extension but who knows?
I'm sure the club will be and have been looking at alternatives but it is shame it's all happening at the same time.

Your source Tom has it very different to Olive. She has overheard conversations that would indicate the club are doing everything they can to keep Rudiger. There is also great faith being placed in the 3 young centre backs at the club. A decision will be taken by Silva in the Summer as to whether he stays for 1 more year or finishes his football back in Brazil. Dave likely to go back to Spain if Barcelona firm up their interest.

I think Azpi and Rudiger will both leave and Silva will stay for another season.
We have good qualities in defence with Chalobah and Christensen and I think we will add one CB in the summer.

Unpopular opinion. Rudi is a little over hyped.
I know that this won't go down well, but he's poor without protection and has quite the injury history. Keep him if we can on OUR conditions.
Dave is staying put as is Thiago.

My understanding is that the club would like all 4 to stay. Silva will be offered another year but may well decide to go back to Brazil. 50.50.
Dave will be offered another year but might take the trip back to Spain if Barcelona firm up their interest. 50.50.

Silva has been class, I fear that another season and it’ll be the season he drops off, let him leave while his stock is still high: rudiger has been great in a back 3 and so has Christensen, maybe that’s a problem that all our CB’s only look good in that system, maybe it’s bit of hinderance to change shape, If we lost one or both of these then I’d love Marquinhos, good fast leader good age, kounde probably high up on list still unless his heading elsewhere,

Of course the club want al four to stay, otherwise they wouldn’t be offering them contracts.
My guess is both Dave and Rudiger will leave and that will be sad.

There’s no much we can do as supporters about contract negotiations: no doubt the club has it’s red lines as do the players. As to Dave, who I really like as a loyal servant at the club, whether he says or goes we need cover for RWB and probably LWB as I can see Alonso going.

Yes overhyped. I think there's some recency bias at play. He's been great this year but I'm just saying that we should not be held to ransom.
Against Walford we saw him under pressure, and I thought he let Lamps down. He's had periods of injury also.
He's good but not great.

Regardless of how the season might end and who comes and goes next summer this group’s achievements have been sensational. For this group to win the CL was just incredible. Full credit to Lamps and TT. I do agree with a few on here, Rudiger and Dave will go. Saul will return to Atleti. I think the club will sell Werner, and consider selling Ziyech. Silva should be left to next summer and discussed then. I think the club should recall CG, BG, sign Declan Rice and a new CB should be brought in. Tchounemi (excuse the spelling) would be cheaper than Rice but more of a gamble. and before everyone piles in saying that the ‘ship has sailed’ re Rice it has not. The Telegraph have reported that Chelsea are still very much in the room, add to that that Zouma has already been sold to WH and I am told there will be another Chelsea player going over there. I know it is business but there is goodwill being built. That is all happening for a reason.

Levi Colwill is also highly rated Danny but maybe just behind the development of the other 3. Time will tell of course. Look where Big Trev was a year ago and where he is now.

Interesting post around Rudiger Nathswindon? My laddie cannot stand the player. and Very much in line with you. he felt Rudiger done over FL with a lack of effort and a negative attitude toward the tactics and the dressing room.
Of course when he ballooned the chance to win the game v United last Sunday he turned to me and said it couldn’t have fell to a worse player he simply isn’t “calm”.
I just chuckled and shook my head…. football eh? U can love it or hate it, but u can’t ignore it.
