Would yous ever stop moaning, 3 games where we looked a bit sloppy and tired and you're posting f*****g essays. We'll either win the league or we won't, with a bit of luck, we will. Chil dafuq down lads.

{Ed0666's Note - some peoples lives revolve around football hence the diatribes. To some people football is akin to religion and they take it seriously and it’s hard to be philosophical when your team lose.

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Dadubliner.

Daubliner, you’re dead right we will win the League or we won’t. What do you expect posters to say” Oh we lost today, better luck time”? The PL won’t be won by a bit of luck. The point of this site is for supporters to share opinions and sometimes frustrations:otherwise is would be pretty damn boring. This is not a mindfulness site where everyone needs to be happy and positive and discuss their crystals.

Fact…. we will win the league or we won’t but part of the fun of being a football fan is the journey!

Every season since I was a kid I’ve always thought at the start of each season Chelsea will win ever competition we enter and then the journey starts. Lots of highs in recent years but one hell of a lot of lows.

I love good football banter, football fans biased opinions and the debate. I also have no problems being proved wrong!

Great comment Jimbo. This forum is just a 21st century conversation down the virtual pub after a big game. We are taking in Chelsea fans from across the UK if not the world. sharing views, opinions, thoughts, challenges and fans’ solutions. Comments can be read in a heartbeat. Jeez there is comments all week in every teams forum daytime, nighttime, early o clock late o’clock . Jeez it’s unbelievable.

Tom, I love an optimist . Certainly, in the 80s I had no hope of the club winning anything but one a blue always a blue. I enjoy the different opinions on this site just like being in the pub after the game. I am not worried about the recent performances, I believe TT will sort it out. That said, it needs to be fixed quickly. As I said the next 5 League games are ones which putative Champions should win before we go into January to face City and Liverpool.

I'm all for having banter and talking football. What gets posted on here by the same 3 or 4 after a couple of bad games is questionable. Jorgihno literally has had a stellar last 12 months and he has two bad games where he doesn't have the protection of Kante or Kova and all of a sudden he's getting slated. RLC was getting praised as the dogs bollix a few weeks ago and all of a sudden he's not good enough. One poster actually said you can win a league by losing the lead twice. ? It's one game and yes if that keeps happening we won't win the league. Then our midfielders don't score and city's do so we won't win the league. How many goals do city's wing backs have this season? Or CB? Guarantee you even without checking stats in too much detail, our defenders have more goals than their midfielders this season, or it's very close. I'm all for debate, but coming on here after a bad game and trashing the manager, players and writing us off when we're 2 points off the top and have been top for 2 months now is ridiculous.

Criticism is fair as long as it’s constructive and not personal.

We always get more posters after a poor performance than a good one.

{Ed001's Note - that is the same on every site Tom. People in general love to moan more than they love to praise others.}

05 Dec 2021 08:02:25
It’s like life in general as well Ed.

People seem attracted to bad news. Certainly the news channels are fixated by so called disaster’s.

Surely there must be some good news going on in the world?

O yes…. The Spuds are crap and the pubs are still open!

{Ed001's Note - that's why I never watch the news.}

Daubliner, you make a fair point about about City’s WBs I haven’t checked statistics; not my thing. Of course, City won the PL last season playing false 9. That doesn’t detract from the issue of the lack of goals from our midfield and forwards. Jorginho made a bad pass back but it could have bee rectified: he is essential to how we set up under TT and is a top player. I have never believed that RLC is the dogs bollix, far from it. City and Liverpool are very good so far this season that is the standard we are up against. As I have said the next 5 League games are against teams we should beat: so let’s do it and put the pressure on the top two.

05 Dec 2021 10:15:42
Come on bruv, dadubliner. What do you expect?
There is obvious weaknesses in our team which needs to be addressed. But you how can personal mistakes be defended? Jorginho had an above average season, yet he gets all the praise in the world, when he is actually just a little better than average. Cracks under pressure and has cost us more than a few times. Sorry if it's harsh but we all know he is not suited for the PL, hence we won't win the league with him. Hope I'm proven wrong.

Having said all that, I think TT is a very smart guy and he will find a solution to sort some of our problems. But some things are out of his hands.

Jimbo mate I agree with you about the next 5 games being very important. We have done very well without Lukaku and Werner, but let's see what we do without Chilwell and Kante.

05 Dec 2021 11:09:05
Totally disagree with your post on Jorginho and RLC. Jorginho hasn’t been Stella in the last 12 months he has been at best average but usually poor in the PL and been good and I mean good, not brilliant good no more then that in Europe. Jorginho is holding Chelsea back and I cannot wait for him to be gone. But I know I’ll be waiting a long time. RLC is a modern play on the front foot midfielder. He goes by people totally eliminates them, all he needs is games to sharpen his decision making. and btw Jorginho has been dropping those ricks from the day and hour that Sarri brought him to the club.

05 Dec 2021 11:23:13
Stephen RLC has had plenty of game time last season and this season. He has talent but so have many players who come through the academies of top clubs. Talent is one thing but top players have football intelligence/ vision as well. You can’t sharpen up what’s not there.

05 Dec 2021 11:57:06
No problem with that opinion Jimbo. U don’t rate RLC, I do. TT appears to be in agreement with you on the midfield selection should everyone be fit, (as Ruben would not be selected) so i have to accept and indeed I do accept that it is me that is out of step.

05 Dec 2021 12:32:38
Stephen it’s just my onion: your views are just as valid. I agree it’s not the time to panic; we have had injuries and a bit of a wobble but we are still challenging for the title. Once we get the last CL game out of the way I’m sure TT will find solutions for us to to get a decent run together.
