Not a football fan at the moment. Good to see Kante and Kovacic back though what a difference they make infront of the defence.
Ziyech and Pulisic's time is up for me just not contributing enough. Mount is the only one who looks like scoring and after him it's James . Worrying with the money we've spent on attackers. Werner and Havertz too. We need someone who scores more than 6 goals a season I don't even think any of our attackers are doing that.
Fingers crossed our luck changes, up the blues??.

We certainly haven't been getting enough out of our attackers for a couple of seasons now. This is something we have to fix if want to challenge for an EPL title over 38 games. When all fit, our defense wing backs and DMs as good as any. This gives a better chance perhaps in cup competitions than the league when more often you have to break down almost entirely defensive minded sides.

We have and had so many injured and C.V. positive players. Title race is not finished there are many games to play until mid May.

I have to agree with Bruce over the last few seasons our forwards just aren’t scoring enough goals nor do we get goals from midfield. That said, I accept Lukaku has been injured and the other forwards never get a run of games because of rotation. It’s something that must be fixed.

We are not in the title race as we don’t have goalscorers. C.V. or not our attackers just haven’t been good enough bar Mount.

Lukaku wasn’t mentioned above but regardless we need a goalscoring wide player like Hazard was . Like Son is for spurs. Not sure who else is out there. Luis Diaz at Porto looks a very good player.

Certainly injuries and C.V. have disrupted TT task of getting combos with up front working not least eg Lukaku and Werner that was beginning to show some promise before both injured in Malmo game. We can hope for improvement in second half of season perhaps. But extraordinary how few goals scored by our forwards in first half even allowing fir C.V. and injuries.

Apologies for the misunderstanding. Wasn’t thinking of Lukaku it’s early days yet but he’s not given me great hope.
