If we are looking at a new wing back maybe we should look at someone who can play right and left. We don't have an out and out replacement for James as Azpi doesn't exactly have the legs to play there no more. Pulisic done well there when called upon though.
Maehle of Atalanta had a fantastic euros for Denmark. He's right footed but plays predominantly as a LWB. Wouldn't be a bad option.

Bruce, you’re right about cover for James suddenly it seems with have a few gaps for certain positions in the squad.

Tricky one, not sure who is available that could cover both wings. In terms of cover for Chilwell, obviously needed would Robin Gosen from Atalanta be available? Like the way he plays. Digne seems the most likely though.

Definitely Jimbo. Need a Kante replacement (Tchouameni), a CB if one of Chris/ Rudi are leaving (Kounde) and a wing back who preferably can play both sides. Don’t think we’ll sign another attacker until one of Ziyech/ Pulisic/ Werner may leave next summer.

JBS I agree on Gosens good player but currently injured and unknown return date. Digne’s been poor for Everton and fans want him gone. Just because he’s an improvement on Alonso doesn’t mean he’ll do much better for us.

i don’t think digne is a bad shout if we can get him on loan then hopefully maatsen back in the summer i can see reece playing rcb like ed suggested if that’s the case i’d like to see livremento brought back to play rwb next season.

Danny if Christensen/ Rudiger leave and we sign a DM like Rice/ Tchouameni I see no reason why we can’t play a back four.
