We were terrible. Brighton deserved to get something from the game. There were some very poor performances, I can’t be bothered to specify. Chelsea are very hard to watch at present. As for Mount don’t makes excuses for him being knackered, he has been in poor form for most of this season, along with too many others. Liverpool must be licking their lips.

How much longer are Chelsea going to have this guy Jorginho as their playmaker and captain? He is Absolutely shocking. The tone intent and tempo of this playmaker affects every single aspect of Chelsea’s play. He is a total indulgence. A bland luxury that plays negative boring football. He never drives the team he drains the team. His CONSTANT inclusion requires a system that means other players have to find another 20% in their game just to cover his inadequacy. I am honestly sick to the back teeth of this son of Sarri 1980s Italian throwback cattenacio footballer. Some of the stuff on here about Jorginho actually beggars belief. Brilliant player, Majestic, controlling. Unbelievable. Chelsea have had this guy for 4 years as playmaker and have struggled to make the top 4 never mind win the title, this year will be no different. And before people come on here and tell me that others aren’t doing it, let me explain. Jorginho is THE playmaker and CAPTAIN, he sets the tone, he is THE first name on the team sheet and he plays EVERY game for 90 minutes. It is utterly utterly baffling to me. Absolutely awful. How many points have Chelsea dropped at home under Tuchel? It must be eye watering. If I read one more time that Declan Rice is too costly I think I’ll jump into the local river.

Spot on again Jimbo, and this was perhaps the hardest watch of a string of hard watches. And in several of them we have given away a lead when dropping points. Burnley and West Ham for instance. Poor game management not befitting proper title contenders. My longer post about this game has been put by eds on the Discussion Posts page understandably.

Stephen, Jorginho had a poor game as he often does when he is closed down quickly but I’m beginning to think your obsessed with the guy!
Brighton played well and there DM bossed the game for long periods.
We had lots of players who didn’t perform not just Jorginho.

Stephen, I love your passion. Jorginho isn’t captain it’s Dave, I think. Chelsea’s problems go a lot deeper than Jorginho. By the way, don’t jump in the river. Do what I do, have a Jameson’s to steady your nerves; it’s going to be a bumpy last half of the season.
