I've always been surprised that people think Trev is a great prospect. TBH I think he's a liability he got mistakes in him in every game lucky on Sunday not to give away a penalty.

Why do we want youths to play surely we want our best players to play. Trev is clumsy and has no finesse he is worse than Zouma.

exactly. he's learning his trade.
To think he was going to be sent out on loan. he's done superb considering. Like any young player he's going to make mistakes, that's how you learn. Look at Silva is 37 and playing some of his best football, Trevor is 22.

There are plenty of top class players of Trev’s age, he is not that young for a footballer; Kounde is about 6 months older. It’s not about his age it’s about his ability.

If your good enough your good enough these people know now a days if you have what it takes all this loan bollox is rubbish. You learn more playing and training with the first team than you do going out on loan to lower teams. Times have changed when people say go out and learn your trade if your good enough you play.

Time and matches will tell if TV will become a first team regular.
I remember thinking that James needed a learn a lot about defending when he first came into our first team, he always seemed a little quick to challenge.
This is TC’s first season in the Premiership and I think he has generally been excellent but he obviously is still learning about the league and how to defend against quality players.
Players from another league sometimes take a season to adapt to the Premiership so why not allow players like TC the same learning period.
I would like us to sign Kounde because he looks like a proper player but he could well take time to find his feet in the Premiership.
Our loan system has proved it’s worth on so many levels and doesn’t need defending.
