Very ponderous first half.
We are moving the ball forward so slowly it's ridiculous.
They just close down Jorginho who is never going to turn it seems to move the ball forward.
Unfortunately yet another team that has worked out that Mount sits in between the lines and if you stop him receiving the ball and turning you pretty much snuff out one of our only threats.

Wheely, so pleased for RLC, who should now always start in front of Jorginho in my opinion.
Mount is always class. He is getting better at losing his marker. This was always going to be a harder year than last season.

Tom RLC had a decent game but it doesn’t change my opinion about him, squad player.

Tom perhaps but TT said that RLC has been” hiding his talent “: make of that what you will. I have never disputed that RLC has ability but top players have good mentality and consistency.

I agree with TT.
Not helped with his very bad injury plus his well known back problems but we have a manager who has always understood his well hidden talent and he is now bringing it out of the lad and that can only be a good thing.

Ha ha Tom, it’s interesting how we interpret things differently but even if TT thinks he is top class, I don’t That’s football we all have different opinions, but I want the best for the club and I just don’t think RLC cuts the mustard for a regular first team place.
