At the game tonight and I am definitely the jinx.
I've only managed to see six home games this season and we have been dreadful in four of them.
My observations are as follows:-
Well played Arsenal, better than us all over the pitch. Always had a spare man in midfield and hunted the ball in threes and fours. Squeezed the gaps between the lines and worked very hard without the ball.
I'm not a fan of either but Alonso and Werner were ok and Mount gave his usual 100%.
RLC was better than Kante but on tonight's performance not a very high bar.
Not sure why Dave played wide and Names in the three when Lukaku was picked.
Sarr gave possibly the worst defensive display from a Chelsea defender I've seen for a long while.
I assume Christensen's mind is elsewhere.
Lukaku made it easy for there defenders. He never pulled anyone out of position and his closing down was childlike.
I think TT got things wrong again at the bridge but it's a cheap comment when we have just got stuffed in our last three home games conceding eleven goals.
Anyway, I would prefer the gooners to get 4th rather than the spuds. Always an upside!

Just one other thing and I can understand fans frustration with Lukaku but booing your own player doesn’t sit well with me.

You’re not the jinx Tom, Tuchel just made a bad team selection today and he was also unfortunate with the injuries (although I know arsenal have their share of injuries too) . The defence was terrible, Christensen isn’t a huge loss but I think it’s evident how much we need Rudi to stay, the man is one of our only leaders in the squad and has been probably top 3 defenders in the world for 18 months now.

Anyway, I think we will take care of business and finish 3rd. Let's focus on FA Cup final.

Arsenal were superior all over the pitch.
They pressed in packs and our back five continually panicked and it wasn’t helped by Mendy giving zero confidence with the ball at his feet.
The Dave and James positions was bizzare when we had Lukaku on the pitch.
Kante and RLC played far to far apart, leaving massive gaps in the middle of the park.
Team selection was an issue but so were some obvious tactical changes.

Sometimes we've been really good this season and other times awful, as we were last night. Some proper comedy defending last night.
