I think tt issues with selection has continued and personally if we fail to win the match all responsibility should go to him. I really don't like it when a manager joke with a final regardless when will he know that werner is a big tool ib a big game even if he misses chances. I prefer not playing in a final to loosing it. we are trophy winning side and we don't joke with such game as final and tt has lost 3 since taking over.
Again tt is only very good in settling up defence but don't know what to do with attackers. I'm concerned because it's just little details that have cost us this much.

we had chances to score tt can’t put the ball in the net even game same as the carling cup final lost on pens both times which is a lottery in their own right.

Tru. I do understand the Kovacic 60mins and then Kante given there recent injuries.
I assume Christensen was pre-match sick again.
I would probably started with Dave over Chalaboa.
None of those decisions cost us the game.

Tom we will never know but we had more energy than Liverpool in extra time and I still am peeved about bringing on RLC for Puli instead of Timo. Absolutely no doubt Timo will leave and who can blame him. If you lose a final the decisions of coaches do cost you games: most of our players did their jobs.

I strongly believe that TT has single handly destroyed Lukau, Warner and Havertz. He just does not know how to play with strikers.

The manager makes the big calls and I agree I was shocked when RLC came on to play if front. As I’ve already posted I thought he would be coming on for Jorginho.
Given the circumstances I think Werner must be gutted.

Most posters rave about the performances of Havertz this season.
Lukaku is a mystery to me as we generally have not played to his strengths. Or, maybe we haven’t got the players to play to his strengths and that begs the question, why sign him?
Werner works hard and that’s about it for me. I got frustrated with him under Lamps and he hasn’t improved. He has NO first touch and NO instinct in front of goal.
I will agree that TT has always got the best out of all three players but some of the problems are down to the players themselves.

I guess the only way we will find out is when TT leaves and a more attacking coach comes in. If its the same problem then its the players fault but conte seemed to know how to play with Lukau so why not TT who is supposed to be a good coach but clearly isnt.

Tom, the issue for me is that none of the forwards are ever given a run of games to get into form:possibly they’re not up to it but the constant chopping and changing is not helping: TT doesn’t know what is best forward line is which is why we are losing games with should have won.

I have issues as well.
If we play Lukaku, you play the ball to his feet almost on the half turn. Other than the first game of the season have we done that?
If we play Werner, he plays on the shoulder looking to run onto the ball, have we done that.
If we play Havertz we need players ready to support him, like Pusilic, have we done that.
I think TT has tried to please everyone and pleased no one.
Also add to that Lukaku’s first touch is average and Werner’s is like a brick wall.

We lost on pens, nothing anyone can do about that.
Yet another so called fan trolling the manager. Yet nothing is said about the missed chances etc.
Lost 3 finals and also won 3, including the biggest one of all. The hate Is getting boring now! I didn’t see Liverpool or city sacking their managers after a season and now look at them.

Lrdit, I’m not advocating that TT should be sacked but to say that people who do should not support Chelsea is ridiculous, they are entitled to their opinions. The Champions League only gives TT so much credit. Remember, di Matteo won it and look what happened to him. We are certainly not competitive in the EPL. If we failed to get top 4, which is highly unlikely, his future should be in question.

Dan it happens to most managers at our club.
He inherited a lot players that were criticised by several managers. Let’s see what happens with the players we sign next season along with our loan players being intergrated and then judge him.
I do have one nagging doubt, who gave the thumbs up to sign Lukaku?

Jimbo all managers should be continually challenged and questioned but FGS let’s stick with a manager and hopefully a plan for the future.

Tom, I’m not suggesting TT should go. Yes, I’d love to know who made the decision about Lukaku. Clearly, Lukaku and Werner will be off as TT doesn’t have confidence in them. Just as important as any signings and loan players being integrated is the players who we let go. With new owners TT might have more influence about those decisions. That said, as fans we are entitled to comment on the decisions of our coach even though we support them to continue on the job. I can accept losing but not the same old excuses being trotted out. If TT is allowed to shape the squad as to ins and outs we may see an improvement in consistency next season.

I’m certainly not suggesting you have asked for the sacking of TT Jimbo.
I’ve been critical of TT through the season and I have been critical about this latest final.
I have no problem with constructive criticism of any manager or player.
I just want some stability for a few seasons and as I keep saying, I want TT to be our manager for the next ten years for obvious reasons.
