It seems that Chelsea will continue playing with 3 in the back. That means Chelsea will have to sign at least 2 CBs (maybe even 3).
Broja is coming back so no striker, perhaps a winger, RWB and LWB. Possibly CM. That's 6 players at least.

Yea I have at 6 also, would love to replace Lukaku but don't think the club will take the loss on him which they'd definitely have to do. I think we could do with Rice to give us the option to use him at CB. I'd like a Bowen type player but not Bowen if that makes sense.

Dadubliner, the indications are that Rice will be staying at WHU next season: he is young enough to play the long game. I know what you mean about Bowen. I’m not sure about him, I keep thinking Drinkwater.

Yea mate, it doesn't look likely that we'll get him anytime soon, if at all. I hope the club and TT have an ace or two up their sleeves.
