£95m, one poor season and 8m for year loan with no obligation, looks like we have this again next season, will be the talk of every window where we get laughed at for our shambolic dealings, hopefully he goes back and smashed it so we can sell him,

Agree0 Disagree0

i think these stupid transfers are a thing of the past and boehly will be far cuter with who we sign because hel want players that actualy suit the managers system.

Matt

We do it all the time.

Spanish and Italian clubs coming pleading poverty and we roll over and get our belly tickled.

I thought it would be different with the new owners but apparently not.

Why would you want someone who doesn’t want to be there? I say this but I blame TT for not playing to his strengths that he failed and he will go on to score plenty in Italy. Now TT you have made you bed time to lie in it. I also hope you play better football than that heap of rubbish you gave us last season. All eyes on you.

21 Jun 2022 21:58:34
If he scores loads of goals for Man next season and has a good World Cup, how much do you think we can then sell him for?

It could turn out to be ok ish business but as I said at the time we should never have signed him.

21 Jun 2022 22:15:12
Tommo, I doubt the stupid transfers are a thing of the past seems like we’re going to do it again. What is TT’s system? It would be nice if he explained it to us.

I think everyone wanted it to work tbh. I can't help but feel TT was given him rather than having asked for him. I'm sure when the player was talked to in relation to expectations and style of play he agreed he'd adapt, he didn't unfortunately and TT wasn't willing to change it up to suit one player. Unfortunate, but we move on. I agree with the above, can't see transfers like this going forward, if they do spend that sort of money, it'll be on someone who 100% fits the bill, regardless of how good he is elsewhere.

22 Jun 2022 07:02:24
Embarrassing. Hope this is a thing of the past.

22 Jun 2022 10:43:25
lukaku is a lump we should of never signed him, i think boehly is just just happy to have him off the wage bill and not have his poisiness attitude in the dressing room, let him go back to italy an act like he's god in a rubbish league.

22 Jun 2022 18:35:30
Nib66 I'd rather the football we played and finished 3rd than the football Arsenal played and be playing Europa League.

22 Jun 2022 19:26:58
Can't remember any of you moaning when we were smashing everyone at the start of the season?

We had so many long/ short term injuries together with many CV cases + most games played than any other team.

You remember what happened to Liverpool when they lost Van Dyke?

22 Jun 2022 20:08:30
i agree lrdit chilwell and james totally derailed the team never mind king kante only playing what about 28 out of 64 games and same for kova.

23 Jun 2022 00:34:04
Or maybe the football that city played or anywhere near and challenge for title or again be anywhere near it’s the worse football I’ve seen under any manager even scolari era.

23 Jun 2022 19:14:22
We must stop this blaming injuries for last season. Chilwell was injured early on we had plenty of time to adapt including a transfer window. The PL is about consistency not about how you start off the blocks. The facts are City and Liverpool were much better. Our top players were inconsistent and went missing in big games. We underperformed against lesser teams: we had a waste of money striker: a dodgy keeper and TT made some strange tactical and lineup decisions. But that is history, we start afresh in August.
