ED001, With so many changes in key positions . Bruce Marina Cech . do you think this is good way forward or do you think that this is going to bring chelsea down and slower with transfer targets and planning for the future at all levels . what is your opinion.

Wheely, I seriously doubt that any poster would believe we could win the title or CL next season. What they are entitled to expect is an improvement on last season: more consistency; a more attractive style of football and a top 4 finish:otherwise it will be a failure.

I always want to see improvement but other teams haven’t stood still and waited for us to catch up.
New players and returning loan players may well take some time to bed in but I’m going into the season looking forward to seeing some fresh faces rather than some who continually disappointed me.

it being sarcastic . everywhere I read. its doom and gloom because we have lost backroom staff. its a new owner changes were going to be made and we need to patient.

I agree with Jimbo
I also think we are headed into the right direction. The change of senior staff was necessary and if the right people are appointed, we will improve leaps and bounds. Getting a good DoF is a must which I think we are looking at the right people. Perhaps it would have been good to let Petr stay around, but new eras need new people.
I hope we sort out James and Mount's contract situations rapidly and then do our business in the transfer market as quickly as possible.
Getting Sterling and a new CB over the line soon is pretty important and will be a good statement.
