It's so sickening that our owners are siding with Man (greedy) city.
Yes, it would probably help us, but so would have the ESL. My goodness, it's the death knell for the rest of Emglish football.

Most people believe that City’s action against the PL is a pre-emptive strike against the 115 charges hearing later this year- I would agree. However, all regulatory bodies who impose rules and sanctions have to comply with domestic law. Chelsea may disagree with rules as we are entitled to do but we are not a party to the proceedings. Whatever the outcome, the proceedings will clarify the legal foundation of the rules and the clubs will know where they stand. Even if City win or are partially successful it will not be the the end of the PL or EPL- let’s not go overboard.

Jimbo
If you want the state run clubs to finish 1 and 2 every season before rge season starts then that's fine howeverci want a competitive league.
Already, the premier league clubs are going to without making payments to the EFL until this is resolved one way or another. That will hinder the EFL so yes it will hurt English football.

I don’t want state clubs to rule the roost. I don’t know the ins and outs of City’s action against the PL for breaching anti- competition rules. The point I was making is that one can’t assume that the PL’s rules are compatible with domestic law and that the decision will clarify it for clubs. Usually such challenges, even if successful, just result in requirements to amend the rules. That is why I believe people are going over the top by saying this is the end of the PL.
