Any truth in nico jackson wanting out of chelsea or is it all garbage.

Agree0 Disagree0

I would have thought it very unlikely. My guess he is worth about £150m unless Utd want to buy him and then it’s £200m.

18 Jun 2024 19:07:50
Tom he was awful at finishing last year how do you value you him at £150m I’d say 50m to 70m and snap there hands off if he’s not our first striker.

18 Jun 2024 20:41:09
Nib, you should know I have zero interest in transfer fees. It was just me taking the pi@s.

18 Jun 2024 22:08:07
Nibb, you’re kidding, the most you would get for Jackson is £35 million on a good day.

18 Jun 2024 23:43:05
Tom, only chelsea would spend 150m on Jackson, lol.

19 Jun 2024 00:52:54
I don’t get the Jackson thing - lots of potential and despite everything scored goals last year. I think there’s something there.

19 Jun 2024 07:49:37
Jimbo,

£35 mil yet Villa want £40 mil for an ancient band like Duran Duran, really.

19 Jun 2024 12:24:09
FD77 absolutely correct, at times plays like a donkey and then sometimes he plays like Messi. All in all, a very strong first season from the young striker and excited to see him next year with more experience under his belt.

19 Jun 2024 15:58:22
He’s good at running with the ball that is it, he’s greedy, he can’t shoot, he can’t go round a keeper, he can’t pass. His running off the ball is dire. He’s a headless chicken.

19 Jun 2024 22:15:59
Yet the headless chicken outscored king Drogba in his first season.

19 Jun 2024 22:25:26
Bill, want Villa want for Spandua Ballet and how much Chelsea might be stupid enough to pay is a separate issue. No club would pay more than£35 million for Jackson.

19 Jun 2024 22:35:36
“donkey” that well known “poker term. ”

Jackso was one of our most improved players through the season.

20 Jun 2024 01:00:15
Very constructive reply tom, well worth the effort to hit post. Do you agree? Disagree? Does he not sometimes completely miss hit the ball as if he's never played the sport before? Has he taken himself out by trying to shoot from a ridiculous angle and kicking himself, thereby tackling himself to the floor?

20 Jun 2024 06:19:13
Standard, so calling another player of a team you support a “donkey” is constructive.

As I put in my post, in my opinion Jackson improved throughout the season. I’m looking forward to him improving again for this coming season.

20 Jun 2024 06:38:57
Your posts seem to contradict themselves Standard. Yes he has done all those things you accuse him of, and yes, I have pulled my hair out at times to the extent I am now bald, BUT, as jsfinchy1986 posted he has outscored Drogba in his first season. We all complained about his lack of heading ability, this he has improved upon, his dropping to defend, he has improved upon.
Jackson was a winger converted to a striker in the Spanish league then thrown into the PL as a striker, a huge ask. He still has much to learn, but with Inkuku fully fit next season I think we will see the best of Jackson in blue. His petulance in the penalty situation with Palmer was "undesirable" but understandable, with another season under his belt I think this will change!

20 Jun 2024 06:58:22
Kiwi, you are correct. Apparently a player who cost £30m can be “raw” but a player who cost £32m is a “donkey. ”.

20 Jun 2024 16:30:01
Can't remember last time I saw a striker going 1 on 1 and still trying to cut back or something else.

Jackson is not Chelsea's standard.

He has to improve massively in 2nd season or be sold.

20 Jun 2024 19:37:02
Morata had two one on ones in a game and missed them both. Drogba was bang average in his first season at the bridge and he was only marginally better in his second season.

I’m sure he will improve again next season and prove himself a valuable player for the club.

21 Jun 2024 01:01:57
Kiwi Pete, what is the contradiction? Jackson plays like a donkey at times and then at others he plays incredibly. Hence why I stated that I'm excited by his next season. I think it's fair to say he does things that make it seem he's never stepped on a pitch before, but that's what you'll get with inexperience.

21 Jun 2024 01:02:51
Tom, like I say every single time you reply to my post and entirely miss the point, please read slower.

21 Jun 2024 05:59:04
Standard, I don’t think so. Maybe you should read back your comments (slowly) before you post them.
