So we are supposedly signing another AM from Villa 18 years old and currently injured for around £19m.
Number one we don't need another inexperienced player in the squad number two why isn't the money being used for a central striker with experience that we do need?

I’m not sure that the young Villa lad is currently injured but I am sure us signing him will not stop the club looking to sign a CF.

He may have recovered but his playing time this season has been limited by two injuries.
And why spend scarce resources when we have Carney Chukwuemeka who needs to be fit and get game time to develop?

I’ve only seen clips of the lad and as always in clips he looks useful.
Competition for places can be useful and my guess is our new manager will access him along with other midfielders and decide who stays in the squad for next season. He may well go out on loan to continue his development.
I’m pleased he is not “currently” injured.

Kdrog they are ffp signings for sure. Can't be any other explanation. Well see if it works or not in the future.

Of course tom, I'm sure they see him returning a bigger sale than the 20m we buy him for. But I am concerned with the approach.
