Irs a good job we ate signing so many young foreign players as we keep losing our own to other clubs, the latest to Man City.

A bit like the way Arsenal lost Hutchinson to us and Man City lost Palmer to us Bill? I think you will find all the clubs are hunting young players both at home and abroard.

I have no idea why he has decided to pop off to Man City. Maybe it’s a bit like us when we signed Christensen, Maatsen, Gilmour, Maatsen and many others but not surprisingly I wouldn’t have a clue.
I also have no idea if this lad will progress and become a Chelsea star but I hope so.

G8, I’m sure it was meant as a compliment. My point is it would appear clubs nowadays want more than an “old school centre forward. ”
I’m sure they is a poster who has the stats and it maybe just me but I wonder what percentage of goals are now headed goals in comparison to 10 years ago? Also, and again this is probably just me but I wonder how many headed goals will be scored in this European Championship compared to other years?

I’m not convinced that Haaland is but they are few and far between as far as I can see.

Watched a few clips: seems strong and mobile. Some of the decision making and finishing looked a bit wayward, but they look like older clips so that may have improved. Definitely has the attributes of a good central striker and will have been well schooled at Barce.
Assume Burstow will be moving on, either on loan or permanently?
