Great performance? The first 30 mins were somewhat decent but only due to us outnumbering them in midfield. Once they took Depay off, the game was just the exact same as the 5 before it. Also that was never a penalty in a month of Sundays, if that was given against us in the PL or any club there would be utter outrage. The Palmer assist and Watkins goal were good though. Have to say if we win it against Spain we’ll have been one of the worst playing sides to have won in ages imo.

Fuser, I agree but history doesn’t care about how you win if your name is engraved on the trophy and nobody remembers the losers. Obviously, Spain are red hot favourites. Getting to a final is an achievement but then losing it becomes a failure.

That's true fuser. Big first half but onlu natural to be conservative in knock-out games so i think both teams were just extremely safe.
Pen was questionable but he did go in with studs.

I would like to know how Kane manged to take the penalty and run away celebrating after he appeared to have a broken leg.
It's nice to know it's not just us who have issues with VAR.

Bill, it's the worst part about football and absolutely embarrassing. We need to post-game ban players If they dive and somehow sort out the softness.
Something needs to be done because it's a laughing stock.

Standard, I agree. I don’t mind a bit of argy bargy in the box or even the dark arts of which Carvelho was world class but diving definitely should be stamped out.

Standard I see it as less being cautious in the second half and simply reverting to type of our game plan completely nullified as in the whole of the tournament. Seem to have no plan except to play the most boring football until super late in the game.
