Any update on the new shirt sponsor? Seems to be dragging on again.

Agree0 Disagree0

Safe to say, Dan, no news is bad news. We will get told things are happening behind the scenes (like the SB development) rinse and repeat.

Bill. I thought I was a cynic. Come on mate they will find a sponsor and if it helps I think it will either be a Saudi company or BoA.

This ownership has probably turned most fans into cynics.

The old ownership, despite bringing us a great deal of success, did make mistakes themselves but you always had the confidence they would get things right more often than not.

Like you, I knew that the new owners would need to strip out most of the old squad and in bringing in talented youngsters have definitely freshened up the squad.

However, we all know some experience is needed in certain areas and all I keep seeing is more youngsters arriving with the exception of Tosin.

Some of the talented youngsters are either been sold or again loaned out due to our bloated squad without being given a first yean chance.

Each season we seem ti have a great deal of trouble obtaining a shirt sponser and once again the new kit (which is awful by the way) is on sale without a front of shirt sponser.

All this without even a peep on where we are with SB.

I will say they have made changes to the medical department however the jury is still out on that one until the season gets underway.

Bill, the SB situation has been briefly mentioned in two sets of board mins. One was the FAB meeting in April. Virtually no real update was given other than what we already know. We have purchased some additional land and a review is taking place. I doubt very much if RA would be any further down the track on this issue than our current owners

We will have a young squad but we do have some experience within it. The likes of James, Chilly, Sterling, Fofana are all old premiership hands.

Due to injury chilly, James and Fofana hardly kicked a ball for us and Sterling's minutes last season were far and few between.

Bill, injuries happen to all ages but let’s try and be positive about next season’s injury issues.

Enzo is a World Cup winner and Caicedo is now an experienced professional. Palmer is an International and Colwill will be playing his thirst season in the top tier of football.

We have young squad but there is plenty of experience within it. There is no need to make it an excuse before the season starts.
