I think buying young talented players and then selling them on for a substantial profit is outrageous. It's almost like using players as a cash cow. haha.

its great. unfortunately we seem to have forgotten about buying first team champions league level players with it. great having 100 kids that all might be great but if we're sat in 10th they won't be here long.

Ed, I’m so useless at all these terms, I had to look it up when Ed02 first used it.
Anyway only a few days to go and it all starts again. Really looking to this season for some reason.

Tom, I am a bit uncertain and nervous about the upcoming season. I was hoping we would bring in 3 top class players, a keeper, striker and a wide player. Our signings so far are underwhelming and don’t improve the squad. So let’s hope Reece, Lavia and NKunku can stay fit. The prospect of Sanchez starting against City is worrying. We also need move on more players the squad size at present is crazy.

Jimbo, my nervousness is outweighed by the anticipation of another intriguing premiership season. I can’t see any team getting close to City or Arsenal for this season.
Lavia and Nkunku are like new signings and I think KDH will surprise a few people, I think he is very underrated.
There is still about three weeks of the window left to run and I’m sure there will be plenty of players leaving permanently and a few more loans. I think Gilchrest going to Sheff Utd is a good loan.
Keeping players fit will be very important and will give us all a better opportunity to Judge a lot more players this season than we could last season.

Tom, true there is still a while to go in the window but I was referring to players we have brought in so far. I will be disappointed if we don’t move on Lukaku, Kepa and Broja and there are a few others as well. As for KDH, I will keep an open mind but he is not a top class player and midfield was not a priority to strengthen in.

Jimbo, I think at least one more midfield player will be leaving and we then have lots of loans for the like’s Washington to sort out.
I think Lukaku, Kepa, Broja and sadly Chalaboa will also be leaving and like you it disappointing if the first three were at the club after the closure of this window.
