Hi Ed, I know a lot of fans are fickle and we obviously don't know what is going on behind the scenes, but I know a lot of fans that are frustrated, mainly with our transfer policy, buying young and trying to find that diamond in the rough is OK, but in my opinion buying Samu, Washington, Angelo, DD Fofana, and a couple of other young Brazilians seems a waste when with that money spent we could of got the Striker we all desperately need.
Again instead of spending £75m on 3 GK we could of got 1 very good GK.

I hope that makes sense and I hate to sound negative.

Up the blues x.

{Ed002's Note - Samu and Angelo Gabriel have potential and were affordable. Fofana will be departing soon. I am not aware of a decision on Washington yet.}

I have no problem with the investment in young players but at this point it's throwing mud at a wall and seeing what sticks. We simply brought too many in for high fees. Fofana is leabing already, casadai will also depart as will a few others I expect.

Fofana was brought in for around 11 million and ill be surprised if he leaves for much more than that if even more than that.

Standard, if we get say £15m or £20m for Fofana is it deemed as good business? I personally wouldn’t know how to characterise it.

Tom, absolutely. But if he's sold for what we bought him for, no.

Standard even if Fofana left for 11m this summer the club would have still made a profit on him in regards to PSR, so would still be a good sale.

Interesting points and yes fuser we probably have made a profit on any sale of Fofana.

I assume we got a loan fee and a very large percentage of his wages paid but then I’m not sure how Chelsea would attribute any transfer fee to its P/ L and neither do any of the so called outside experts

Of course it would be a very bad sale if the player was to leave and prove himself to be a top talent for another club.
