Huge! I'm very excited if we can get him in.

I'd rather just roll with Jackson as the primary 9 if we can't sign Osimhen. It wouldn't take a huge amount to convince me of just going ahead with Jackson regardless.

I have always been of the opinion that we need another 9, but now we have signed Felix I just don't see the space in the squad to include one and not totally ruin the development of Jackson. His all-round game is absolutely brilliant, yes he's not as lethal as we want but that can be developed, and outside of Haaland and Kane, what striker is? If an Osimhen comes in, then Jackson is going to play half the amount he does now at best, and sometimes it will be off of the left.

I assume that Nkunku will be sold next summer though, so I guess longer term there could be space.

Rbd why do you assume nkunku will be sold next summer?

Any potential sale of any player would surely be at least partly based on performances this season.

Finchy, he'll be 27, a high-earner in comparison to the rest of the squad and one of our most sellable players.

He's more of a left inside forward, which is the same position Felix and KDH want to play. Plus if we want Palmer more central, then we need width from the LW which means one of Jackson, Neto or Mudryk needs to play there. If Osimhen comes in then he's also much less likely to be played up front.

Added to all of that, we have the two golden boys from South America coming in next summer who want to play somewhere in behind that front line. It all adds up to him being sold in my opinion.

Depends on performance and needs. I’m hoping, for obvious reasons he isn’t sold and stays with the club for years.
