So that was the 4 transfer windows we had to go through before judging the project, £1.5b and we still haven't got the GK and ST and even world class CB, how can a squad build with that much money be so poor, genuine question? More bad advice ed? Chase osimhen till window closes don't have plan B. Are winstanley and Stewart incompetent or what?

Should we forget all the other players they have signed. Noni, Nkunku, Jackson, Lavia, Caicedo, Enzo, Gusto, Felix, Sancho and many more.
If your narrative is to just focus on the negative then crack on because I see a squad that’s been rebuilt and getting stronger. I would have liked a CF but I’m pleased we didn’t start trawling the market for alternatives.
{Ed002's Note - It is simply trolling.}

For the amount we've spent, very very poor outcome. Yes we have a couple of star signings (palmer, gusto) but all in all after that amount of money spent with the squad we already had. Disastrous.
The osimhen deal however, we did our best. We already have Jackson, Nkunku, Felix and Guiu as our order of options so it wasn't a necessity.

Ed, I should have guessed. Surely some people can see something to be positive about.

Oh come on, stop with all of this.
We have a very good team that is absolutely set for the next 10 years. Give it a chance. We have done well and we are going to compete.

Tom
You are correct, there are a large number of positives and the squad did need a massive re-build which has been done.
That been said, we all know we need an experienced no.9 but for some reason, we seem to be unable to so.

Bill, I would have like Osimhen and it’s obvious the club wanted Osimhen but it just wasn’t to be in this window.
I personally think we have a very talented squad. I think the recruitment team have tried the best to rebuild a squad that can challenge for trophies, that has brought the wage bill down and has improved for the last two seasons. Of course other fans/ posters see things differently.
I also thank the owners for splashing the cash. Has every signing been a play would choose, of course not. Also it’s a certainty that some of the signings will not prove themselves at Chelsea, that’s the same at any club.

Honestly the top level strikers are few and far between. Haaland, L. Martinez, Lewandowski (perhaps over the hill) are out of reach. Then you have Osimhen, who we chased fairly hard, it was initially claimed that it would take €120m to buy with massive wages, and yet come the end of the transfer window Napoli seems to have accepted €70-80m from SA. The new ownerships desire to reduce wages is commendable, they have no desire to get stuck with another Lukaku or Sterling. Given his recent injury and below par performances the reluctance to meet his high wage demands is understandable despite fans desires for a top no9.
As for a plan B, we initially wanted Sesko but he signed a new contract and the rest that’s out there are mostly youngsters with little experience but potential such as Duran, Omorodion, Zirkzee or an older head such as Toney (potentially problematic) etc. Sticking with Jackson and Guiu (who I both think have good potential) actually seems like a wise decision imo.

Nice balanced post fuser I agree.
I still think we will struggle for goals but I also think jackson will improve on last seasons numbers.
My hope is we have a pretty much injury free season. But with James and lavia already injured I concerns me more.
