Moving on from yet another fantastic performance and on to something more general.
I do a skin in any debate about concessions as an OAP who gets a big discount on my season ticket. I was aware of a fan backlash at West Ham when that club changed its concession policy. I had no idea Utd fans of all ages now have to pay full price and I understand that a few other clubs have also made changes to there ticketing policy.
My sons and daughter will eventually take there kids to games and I cannot see how they could justify the cost of multiple season tickets.
Since I started going to the bridge over fifty years ago there has always been kids tickets available at a reduced price, I hope this policy doesn't change.

As an over 65 I do appreciate discounts as a senior citizen but generally I think a discount for kids is so much more important as it encourages future interest and life is expensive for the youth of today.

To be fair to RA and the new owners the ticket price increases this season were the first for many years. Also, I recently read that Chelsea were one of the few clubs who do not charge for kids being mascots, most other clubs charge up to £150.

Jimbo, you are correct we have a long history of ticket price stability and in offering concessions.
My concern is that now other clubs have changed there concession policy our club may well follow suit.
I think it would be financially hard for some parents who will be bringing future CFC support to a game. I also know if several OAP’s who would have to give up there season ticket if that concession was withdrawn.
Needless to say I have emailed my concerns to FAB and to be fair they have replied with a “no plans” answer.

I agree re. need to make youngsters able to attend a priority. But loyalty over very many years also v important. Great tha there has been ticket stability for season holders, and smallish number of seats available outside of Westview for others including members but these have been incredibly hard to get over last couple of seasons. So there are very few tickets available at affordable prices for non-season ticket holder members. Mostly it's a matter of paying between 150 pounds and 300 pounds for Westview seat for an EPL game when it was to price of 70 pounds under previous ownership. But at least this season members were offered this option and at the start of the season. And one day, somewhere/ somehow (and Ed002 - RIP the legend - used to be up on latest here and can only hope that if not at the Bridge itself it will be close) we will hopefully have a bigger stadium and perhaps more tickets again at more affordable prices.

JBS, as far as I know there still only 28k ish season ticket holders. The remaining seats are sold to the away team and members.
I am mystified as to why the season ticket allocation hasn’t been increased.
