Fourteen games and we are averaging 2pts per game. That is Champions league form.
Certainly wasn't the team selection I was expecting and we did look shaky early in the game. I thought Jorgensen, Noni, Felix and Enzo all played very well with Palmer and Cucarella both solid as usual.
Our away fans are amazing. Love the manager chant and his reaction and so far the fans are right, "we've got our Chelsea back. ".

Things are on the up but I hope Jorgensen plays on Sunday against Spurs. I was wondering why Cuccurella didn’t wear a hair band- now I know the temptation is is too great!

Also agree with all above and like the MC hairband comment Jimbo. Only added comment is that we could of course have scored many more and coasted much of first part of second half with little intensity as none really needed. Did also think that despite his error for Southampton goal Enzo was otherwise excellent again and without that error would surely have been MoM contender. Moises consistently great. Felix highly skillful and entertaining, but also adding greater energy and movement and some non-fouling good tackles. loved some of that. Palmer off his best for much of the match as again didn't have to over exert himself, but still some key passes and getting there for tap in goal.

I think Maresca made a very strong statement yesterday by giving the "so called" premier league side a shake up. The message to the players is "If you work hard in training, play well in Cup competitions and demonstrate you are a "Chelsea level player" you WILL get a chance. He is taking our club back to the level we are used to. Those players who don't take their chances or who are just not of the level required will be replaced. He is ruthless and also a very good coach.

Hope you are correct West Dide but I think it was mire the case that we have a number of fixtures coming up in the short space of time and we were playing the bottom side.
The team selection will be interesting against Spurs.
