Just been looking at the Liverpool site for any interesting news. Much to my surprise some of there posters are saying Caicedo should have been sent off and comparing Caicedo's challenge to someone called Jones who apparently got sent off last season.
Other than the blindingly obvious that referees are inconsistent the thing that struck me was it being about Chelsea. Inconsistent referees is something that all clubs occasionally suffer from not just one club but just maybe, it's a we are worried about Chelsea thing!

I see that a person by the name of Oli was given ED025 pelters and could not see ED's impartial point of view.
Another poster said the weekend Could not have gone any better with city and Arsenal drawing, the poster seem to have forgot that we are now only 4 points behind them.

They seem to forget the rules change season by season. The lines for offside were widened in the summer to aid attackers, the handball rule has changed almost every summer for the last 3-4 years.
Not to mention that referee standards by themselves are poor in the league, with some referees far below average. Plus some referees ref games differently based on who’s playing. We often hear of how refs let all but the worst challenges off in derbies/ big games in order to maintain the spectacle and not have the game end in 8v8 etc. It’s incompetence and built in inconsistency not any sort of conspiracy that Liverpool fans seem to think it is.
Also think it’s quite wild that it’s Liverpool fans who think they’re the worst done by. A couple of seasons ago every man and his dog dubbed them LiVARpool as it seemed they got every decision in their favour. Perhaps the return to norm has them believing they’re now being targeted rather than this simply being the standard.
