“J” certainly a couple of players last night didn’t look up for the game but that wasn’t the case for the majority of the game I watched last weekend.
I wouldn’t have a clue if the players are unhappy with the manager but I would guess the SD’s will be be observing such things as the mood and effort of players and maybe quietly asking certain players there opinions. Mind you I think certain players should be looking at themselves just a little bit as well.

Tom, you’re right players ought to look at themselves but frankly we have no leaders in the squad.

Jimbo, certainly not enough leaders but I assume players like Enzo and James wouldn’t if asked express there opinions and that of other players.
The game on Sunday will tell us a lot. Will there be a player reaction to a dreadful performance. Will the manager have learned anything from the game against them at our place when Iwobi and Robinson totally destroyed us. Actually I think the performance at home against Fulham was a massive turning point on lots of levels.

Totally agree on the lack of leaders on the pitch I thought Diasi was a leader but unfortunately he is not a good enough footballer even Reece and Enzo don't come across as natural leaders to me, in this squad worse than that I think we have more than a few who are a bit flakey when the going gets tough.
Most of this is down to squad recruitment will be good in a year or two but generally leadership qualities take time I know they got thumped yesterday but to my mind Newcastle have less good players than us but a much better mix Tonali Bruno G, Burn Schar all strike me as leaders.
