Standard I rate Zabarnyi tbf but as someone above said I doubt Bournemouth would sell both CB’s I. One window. Huisjen going to Real makes sense but I don’t mind missing out on him too much. He’s left sided and I think we’ll stick with Colwill mostly. As for other options, there’s Guehi (not my preference), Diomande (who we’ve been linked with), I rate A. Silva (from Benfica? ) lots of talk about Hato but he’s more left sided but could be back up LB.

RPD, I don’t have an agenda I have opinions and to have an agenda you need to be in a position to influence decisions and actions which obviously I don’t have. The players you mentioned were signed a couple of seasons ago, I was referring to the here and now. Since then the club has continued to stagnate. The owners show no signs of a unified direction or strategy for the club.
Top players choose to join clubs for various reasons: wages: the prospect of trophies, the status of the coach etc. Most of us agree that we need a keeper and a striker. We won’t be getting Costa between the sticks . As for a striker we might end of with Delap; nothing wrong with him but he is a prospect not a proven player. You also conveniently forgot to mention last summer’s window which was dreadful.

Neto was signed last summer and in my opinion he will prove himself to be a top player for Chelsea. kDH and Felix were in my opinion not needed but that doesn’t make them bad players. I do think that KDH has improved throughout the season.
Having an agenda isn’t about being in a position to “influence decisions. ”
On the issue of signings. It would appear we are getting a winger (probably Gittens) and one CH. I would like us to sign Sesko and Costa but I don’t think we will sign a new GK.
We have lots of players who will be leaving and we also have some current loaned players who will probably be added to the squad.

Another season with no UCL will definitely affect us getting in players we would like. But it is what it is. I'd also keep chalobah, Colwil and Tosin and sell the rest. I don't know who we can bring in honestly but I guess Guehi would be alright. Not stoked about the fee, never shoukd have left in the first place.
I've been pretty dissapointed with Neto honestly. I'm not a fan of bringing in players who are no better than the ones we have but I will reserve judgement. He's not been terrible like Cucurella and caicedo were early on, but he hasn't impressed. If he improves anything like cucurella and caicedo though we will have a player on our hands.

I’ve never been that convinced that CL football is the ultimate deciding factor for a player. My guess is terms of a contract trumps most issues.

Tom, no doubt you will continue to embrace your interpretation of hidden agenda as you use it so frequently and I will stick to mine. As to you appraisal of last summer’s signings I disagree. Felix and Sancho were not only unnecessary but completely dumb signings. We had Felix on loan and he was unimpressive; he has never settled at any club yet we forked out £42 million for him. Sancho we signed with an obligation to buy, so we will have to pay penalty to get rid of him. KDH is a Championship level player and should have been left at Leicester. I have not been impressed with Neto, he appears to be a very one-dimensional player. That said, he may fare better next season if we find someone who can head the ball in the opponents box who he can cross to.

I should have added that apparently a host of clubs were after the lad from Bournemouth and supposedly one of those clubs was Liverpool, premiership champions with guaranteed CL football.
I suppose they had “better get used to targets going to other clubs. ”.
