Could the Jackson to BM have been part of some cunning plan (doubt it) to flush Newcastle or Villa into making an acceptable offer for the player. ?
Seriously, I really hope this doesn't mean that Guiu isn't used. I was very happy with his loan to Sunderland but maybe the deal for his return to us has a return to them clause in the next window. Who knows, we are all just guessing!

We will be playing a large number of games this season and as we have already seen, there will be many injuries on top of suspensions.
I would be happy with a Pedro, Delap Guiui and Jackson option up front.

id be shocked if we see jackson in a chelsea shirt again, due to villas struggles so far and isaak leaving wouldn't be surprised if jackson ends up at either of the 2 clubs today and we sign this fermin lopez or what ever his name is.

I agree poschemire that it is highly unlikely that we'll see Jackson in a Chelsea shirt again. I hadn't wanted him to leave but I think the club having told him he could and given Jackson now set on leaving we need to look for an alternative solution and Jackson still most likely to go to Bayern - as he seemed set on it and Bayern still keen according to many reports (though they did the correct thing by saying he should return to CFC but he has apparently remained in Bavaria) . Whether we get Guiu back or take a punt on Harder from Sporting as we've been linked with him I don't know. Very late in the day to do much else now. Unless Maresca has been sweet talking Jackson back into the fold. but I doubt it.
I believe Sunderland may have sanctioned Guiu return though they didn't have to and that this after Buananotte loan deal is concluded (assuming it is - and he is a nother if rawer no 10 option to Lopez) might conclude our incoming business and allow Jackson to complete either loan or permanent move to Bayern.
I think Lopez would be a great signing and would love it to happen - a really good number 10 option by all accounts alongside or in rotation with Palmer - but not sure that our club would pay the amount that Barcelona would accept or that the player really wants to leave Barca. but we'll see and perhaps deadline day will throw up a surprise especially if we got a permanent sale for Jackson.
Main questions may be whether we can still offload one or some or all of Sterling, Chilly and DD Fofana in on way or another? Saudi league for any of them? Sterling to Fulham or West Ham?
