I make it about 33 players off the payroll with about 2/ 3rds being permanent deals.
Incomings about 10 with some deals being made permanent from loans.
That's just me make a rough stab at the numbers.

I think the Incomings number about right Tom though the outgoings may not be in the 30s perhaps though onviously considerable.
Just a huge opity for him and us that Sterling - on salary of over 300,000 a week - is currently without a club and just wish he could find something in Saudi, N America or Turkey that he and club would find acceptable. Same goes for Axel Disasi though he seemed to have been discussed by Bournemouth and Wst Ham at least as a possible late signing so perhaps a move in January to one or other possible? He was an outright liability as an RB but on occasion did ok at CB for us - and scored the odd goal if most memorably on debut versus Liverpool - but just not consistently enough at required level for top club perhaps despite that MoM performance v City. There was never any doubting his effort level though.

JBS, Disasi reminded me of Rudiger with all the chest pumping and kissing the badge crap. He can’t stay in his feet to make a challenge and was impetuous. I believe there were clubs that were interested and any Weat Ham move got scuppered when they went with an alternative. I’m sure he will get a loan now or be sold in January to a team that’s struggling.
Sterling is all of our own making and I’m sure we would have been happy to subsidise his salary but his working parameters are so narrow it makes the chances of doing a deal almost zero. I think one of the London clubs might also take him in January but we will be paying the vast majority of his salary.
Fofana was just unfortunate but my guess is we will find him a home in this window.
George, I like as a player and I hope he gets some game time. Not sure why that deal fell through?
