Thanks for the review of Pedro ED01, I also saw our former winger Pat Nevin say the club got a "smarter deal" in signing Joao Pedro over Alexander Isak because Pedro cost significantly less, offering comparable value for Chelsea's budget. Pedro has had a strong start at Chelsea, scoring five goals in his first six appearances. Nevin argues that Isak is not "twice the player" Pedro is, making Chelsea's acquisition at half the cost a more financially astute move. Will be interesting to see how the numbers pan out come the end of the season.
{Ed001's Note - I am not sure it is relevant as they play completely different roles. Also the teams are in completely different situations. Also Isak had absolutely no interest in joining Chelsea.}

Ed001, did raise concerns when we signed Pedro but so far I am impressed; he has plenty of talent. This is his opportunity to show he can play at the highest level particularly in the Champions League; hopefully he doesn’t fade as the season goes on.

I really like Pedro and although I agree with ED01 around how he chases the ball I think now he is playing with elite level players like Palmer he will have that trust that they will be able to connect with him as we saw in the CWC win over PSG. I'm backing him for 20 goals this season across all competitions.

He is a very good attacker who has an eye for a goal.
He will be right up there in the goal scoring charts at the end of the season.
