I don’t like these David Luiz rumours. Refusing to train to force through a move to Arsenal. This seems odd in a few ways, very late in the window, arsenal are a rival and don’t have champions league football and I’ve always thought Luiz was loyal to us and loved the club despite celebrating against us. We certainly don’t have the squad depth to let him go.

No rumours; Matt Law seems to have confirmed it.

David luiz scored the winning goal v us in champions league and went absolutely mental ( as he should of ) and now refused to train to get his move, if this is the case I imagine it’s because he knows his not a regular starter under frank with Zouma back and rudiger close.

It's weird, he signed an extension not long ago, in May. He could of left for free and commanded a big signing on bonus.

I would say Lamps might have said he will play a reduced role this season.

The question is why is he forcing a move esp at this time in the window? Could it be that he has been told that his first team role will diminish and he doesn't want to play second fiddle OR have Arsenal offered him more years (in turn more money) OR is a combination of both factors OR could it be something else? Perhaps, time will tell.
I remember that D. Luiz pushed for a move from PSG to Chelsea the moment he realised that he would no longer be in the first team; could this push to leave at this moment be a similar scenario? Whatever he decides, I wish him good luck.

Another twist to the story is that he didn't refuse to train that's according to Oliver Harbord of Football. london. So could his 'no-training' be that the club wants him out?

MATT LAW'S WORDS: 'There have been a series of fall-outs surrounding him (D. Luiz) this week - He has made it clear he wants to go - Arsenal are interested'.

Let him go, no more wild wasted free kicks and those moments of charging a midfielder and being out of position. Doesn’t want to fight for a spot then go,

Wrong timing ahead of the Man Utd game.

Club ain't that daft to create a story by selling Luiz knowing they are banned and before a big game. Adverse media.

Luiz probably knows he will be phased out slowly and has been told at arsenal he will be integral. If this is the case then what a way to end a terrific career at chelsea.

I would like to think of myself as a balanced fan but Luiz making demands from the club and wanting to go to Arsenal sucks.

He was on course to become something special at our club but any chance of that will disappear as he trundles over to North London.

I can’t think of two many times when we have kept players who want to leave, so I guess we will sell him and keep Tamori in our squad.

Was reading on carefree that we got him to sign the new deal not to loose him on a free and that he’s been told he’s 4 choice hence why he wants to go and lampards given his blessing on the deal only passing on what I’ve read.

Read Chelsea Will get around or close to £15m for him, that’s brilliant business of true, Zouma Rudiger both better, Christensen would be a lot better if he was bit more aggressive but that £15m can go with the hazard money morata money and go towards strengthen attacking wise end of season,

He was probably our weakest defender in pre-season. I expect he's aware he won't be first choice this season and has thrown his toys out of the pram.

Overall he's been a decent player for the club, but I won't be too upset if he leaves and Tomori stays with the squad.
