Does anyone know if the scheduled Premier League meeting took place today and if yes, did the meeting make any decisions?

{Ed002's Note - It did. No vote on neutral grounds - it is being suggested that the reluctance to have a vote on the neutral venues will see some clubs look to use it to end the season as there is no end in sight. The confirmed start for next season has been "set as" the previously suggested September 12.; It has been argued that the UEFA July 31 end date can be shifted as to allow PL to continue if the clubs involved in CL and PL agree. But this is all whatif stuff.; the view of players needs to be considered; the significant list of concerns raised by medical staff at clubs needs to be addressed - ideally before a meeting on Thursday; discussion on returning to training and then transitioning to training without social distancing. Confirmation that the season cannot be simply voided and start again as though this season never happened - that has never been on the table so it is a bit of a dumb message.}

Ed002, I rarely post, but always read. Like many on this site I have followed and valued your posts/ replies, and in years gone by you have always been spot on with any comings and goings. I know due to twitter etc you have been recently reluctant to offer anything much, but would love to know exactly what you see happening amid all this coronaviris thing for Chelsea! I'm only asking for your intuitive/ informed opinion, at this point in time, things change by the minute, let alone the hour, I realise, but you seem to nail it everytime! Could you possibly share your thoughts, without any judgement, as to what you see happening in the next couple of months re restart/ tranfers etc. I know you may wish not to, due to the "dickheads" out there, that may wish to distort the obvious, however, the core members on here truly value the information you supply.
All my best wishes to you, all the other Eds and your families and the other posters families (minus the dickheads) out there from New Zealand.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea are getting ready to go back to training like other clubs. Players have expressed their opinions about returning to a contact sport at this time and particularly the waivers they will be bequired to sign - but will likely be ignored by the Government, Medical advice is going by the wayside and questions remain unanswered. They would like to know where games are to be played. The transfer situation remains such that players are available but those who have been out on loan have not been assessed and spoken to yet. They have a list of players they are keen on but are aware that clubs are looking at exchanges which makes life difficult.}

Awesome Ed002, thanks so much for the reply which made it very clear that AvB-z+y= whatever is the unfortunate situation the club (and yourself) finds itself in in regards to the future beyond today. Everything changes daily which makes it very difficult for you to give solid info as to future happenings, I realise.
Personally I'd love to see Icardi (who we were definitely interested in a couple of years ago) in blue, unfortunately he's married to Wanda lol, which makes life difficult. Your thoughts there, or an absolute "no go"
Thanks ED002, please keep up the great work and above all be safe.

{Ed002's Note - It is just a random player - he is not moving to Chelsea.}
