{Ed002's Note - For now it is behind us. Achraf Hakimi (RB) Inter spoke with Chelsea and wanted to offer an exchange for Kante, but started negotiating by asking for both Kante and Emerson. Nothing came of it but he would be an eventual Azpilicueta replacement. As they have financial issues they would like a straight circa €60M for him which interested sides, including Chelsea and Leicester, see as high. Arsenal enquired after him but are not an attractive option. Losing him to AFCON is always a consideration.

James not seen as the rb replacement or does the current manager / system and formation come into account,

Definitely would be great to have as San Option, R. James a more defensive Full Back and Hakimi who is more attack minded. Would be a nice option.

Interesting, so maybe one we xouod look at again, ed002 is kante going to stay then this summer or does he want to leave or chelsea looking to sell thanks.

Hakimi is well built for premier league, big fast strong and eye for goal, would be a superb signing, if it was to happen, competition is good also, I’m sure we could maybe strike deal, cash and emerson or alonso for him?

Is it just me or does anyone feel TT will likely want to bring in his own players which might make some of our current players lose their place. Like hakimi will certainly take James place if comes and hit the ground running.
