I’m glad Dybala is going elsewhere, don’t rate him. On a separate issue what a waste of time these International friendlies are :what is the point of picking a team where at most three would start in a competitive game:Southgate is a joke.

Or maybe to work out who else he will take on his squad? And surely playing friendlies against different non European teams before a World Cup allows minor tactical tweaks ti be experimented on before the real thing? At this stage of our domestic season, when the first 11 players are probably from teams still playing many games, would you bother playing against weaker opposition those players you know will be in? Personally, I think bringing more players into the England team breeds confidence and allows the odd player (ie Bellingham ti take their chance to shine) . Also keeps the regulars on their toes knowing there is competition being looked at behind them. Surely fir all those reasons there some point to it?

Although I must admit, I hate the international breaks as I can’t get my weekly dose of watching Chelsea. Good that we can finally buy tickets again.
