Do you expect us to follow up our interest in Osimhen and De jong?
We are still a striker short even if Lukaku stays and I’ve always understood Osimhen to be high on our list of strikers, I think he is perfect for the bridge.
I remember you mentioning that we had discussed De Jong in the past with Barcelona but that negotiations were long and protracted. If he is made available this summer and with the player (like most) favouring champions league football I wonder if we could look to a move again?
Also just want to say thanks so much for all the info you give, I don’t Often post but it is one of my favourite pass times every transfer window to check the site a few times a day to see your intel. It’s so frustrating to see you getting wound up on here, but it’s down to us the overwhelming majority of chelsea fans on this page to show how much we appreciate your insight to try and dilute the veg.
So I hope we can all start to search before we post to see if Ed002 has recently posted about a player and also not ask questions about random players because this can be done on the European page where you will notice Ed has no issues with answering about random players. {Ed002's Note - (a) Napoli want a sealed-bid auction for Osimhen and want it completed in time to recruit a replacement. Chelsea see the expected price as too high but it is possible that with Napoli interest in a Chelsea player, something may be possible. Much will depend on departures. (b) FdJ was mentioned when the clubs were discussing other players but it will go no further. The "long and protracted" related to another player - not de Jong. Thanks.}

I wonder why we aren’t interested in De Jong, I think he’s world class and can provide a creative spark from central midfield even though I see him as a midfielder that will do very well with another combative midfielder by his side.

Obinna, ed had said in numerous occasions that Chelsea are put off by a move for FDJ being long and protracted after a similar problem last year. I'm guessing Kounde.

Oh I see, I miss understood.
I thought it was ANY protracted transfer Chelsea were avoiding, not specifically with Barca.
