I was in the camp of its early and only just opened, then I’m seeing spurs close on bissouma spence perisic and top 2 getting free haaland and Nunez and then realising our whole window last year was lukaku and Saul. Who id say we pretty shocking in hindsight. And I’m a lukaku fan, or I was. I don’t even think anyone were linked to is exciting except nkunku and that’s doubtful at best.

Were always very, very slow at completing transfers. We penny pinch, get outbid, match the bid but by then it's too late, and then spend more money on two or three players who leave for peanuts 4 Yeats later.

We all knew it was going to be a difficult window for the club with so many players likely to be leaving.
The window has only been open a few days and things can happen very quickly.

Everyone seems to forget that we couldn't put any wheels in motion while we we're sanctioned.
Would any of you, in your job, talk to a business if you didn't know if they could afford to buy what you're a selling? If you say yes, you're not being truthful, or a very bad business man!

Well, Liverpool just signed Nunez under the noses of Man Utd and they concluded the deal quick time.
Things are probably happening in the background.

Guys, some deals take time. Agreeing to a price is not the only hiccup.
So go through quickly and others take time.
Timing of the transfer doesn't change anything. Stay positive and things meant to be will work out.
We have people at the helm who know what they are doing . give it time and back you team . stop looking at what others are doing.

As per ed002, we could possibly sign de ligt as one of 2 possible big CB signings. We just need to be patient and wait and see what happens.

Ed002's Note - Matthijs de Ligt (CB) Wants to move to Barcelona but it would need to be an exchange type deal and seems most unlikely. Discussed with Chelsea during a meeting over other players but his termination clause and wages if asked in full would kill any chance of a move - but don't discount an offer being made. Bayern Munich have a declared interest as a Sule replacement but will not pay the asking price. Real Madrid interest only works if they will accept one or more players in exchange. I suspect he may well move in the summer with the preferred Barcelona struggling to fund the move over other planned activity and my guess is that Chelsea will make two significant CB purchases and he could be one. PSG provide an option - but that is depending on departures. Manchester United would be a less likely option and are interested in others. As a wildcard, Manchester City who may have a significant departure. Juventus will push for a new contract but the two parties are far from agreeing terms. }.
