I think that was his dad.

Renato veiga, all I’ve read is, versatile, goes under radar as his a good player, started if left back and at Basel has played in midfield. Ed, would veiga be our option instead of calafiori?

I’d check his birth certificate he looks about 40.

Jimbo

It's probably him worrying about where he is going to be loaned out next season.

Bill, I hope not because we may well be selling either Chilly or Cucarella to Utd.

TomB, it would be a tough choice between Chilly and Cucu imo. Cucu improved towards the end of last season making the inverted FB role his own and was pretty good at RB mid season too tbf. But he was super poor his first season and who knows if he fits with Maresca’s plan as it’s usually the RB that inverts (although I don’t imagine switching to LB inverting would change much) Then we have chilly who’s on 100k~ish more than Cucu and he’s been injured a lot over the last few years. Don’t think he’s able to do the inverted role imo but may not be required to (although James is at his best imo in the attacking 3rd so my preference would be a LB inverting, also don’t think Gusto would be good at inverting either) . However, we seem to be selling off quite a lot of our academy talent and potentially will see both Gallagher and Chalobah leave this window which would leave us very short of HG players, which would only be exacerbated by Chilly leaving.

Think overall my preference would be selling Chilly and keeping either Chalobah or Gallagher or even both.

Fuser, I know it’s common practice to assume a manger will carry on with a successful system he has had at any previous clubs but I’m hoping he shows some flexibility in tactics.

Carlo made changes throughout a game and Jose was a master at keeping the opinions there toes by being proactive and when needed changing shape.

Anyway, I’m really looking forward to next season. I can’t wait to see Nkunku and Lavia, fit and firing!

I think Chilly should be the one to go purely due to the fact he is constantly injured.

Fuser, I think you might be right about both Chabs and CG (although I believe he will run down his contract) .

So we signed this lad because we missed out on Riccardo Calafiori.

The good thing is. Arsenal will always be Arsenal. They peaked last season and won nothing. It is now all downhill for them.

Before this afternoon many of us didn’t know who Renato Viega was but since he has signed for Chelsea. He’s the best talent in the world.

Celery, I’m sure we looked at him but I’m not sure we ever put a bid in for him.

I agree about Renato.

{Ed002's Note - Chelsea stepped back from Claritin because of concerns over his injury record.}

Ed002, it’s good to know that the club are looking at all aspects of potential targets; injury records, attitude etc.

{Ed002's Note - Calafiori of course.}
