GREAT result this weekend, I think that was a must-win game and it's doubly satisfying to be pegged back and still get the result.

Still though, the same concerns remain. A total lack of control at the end of the game, and too easy to play through the midfield at times. The longer the season goes on, the more I believe we need to recall Andrey Santos and loan KDH. If he isn't even making Premier League squads then what on earth is the point? Even if Santos only plays in the midweek team and then helps shore things up in the Prem, that is a more positive contribution than we are getting from KDH.

United now feels distinctly like a banana skin. If we win there we can largely get away with having a free hit at Arsenal. If we win both then we would be ahead of Arsenal on merit. Fingers crossed we make some positive progress this week.

We still look very vulnerable defensively despite Lavia improving things.
Gusto seems to have regressed defensively and all our CB and goalkeeper all have a basic mistake in them.
We probably have a big enough squad to get Top 4 this season but we will need to sort out our defence substantially to challenge the top 3 next season hopefully.

The KDH signing is looking more and more suspect as the season goes on. Didn’t think we needed him during the summer but thought having a Maresca player made some sense. But he’s hardly played overall except in Europe and he hasn’t pulled up any trees so far. Would have preferred to see Santos or even Casadei playing instead.
