Just home from the game.

What a pleasure it is watching this team play.

The manager got the tactics spot on again with Cucarella inverting and getting my vote as MOM closely followed by Caicedo.

Colwill just plays like a natural leader and Tosin was generally solid.

We are now two points ahead of my top end target, long May this form continue.

Thanks for report Tom and agree about how goid it has been to watch CFC lately. I would also have made Cucurella MoM except he foolishly picked up a second yellow for getting involved in silly arguing with Brentford players and the Ref after the game was over. As Maresca knows we have picked up far too many silly cards this season with Jackson picking up more than his fair share. Cucurella now misses Everton game and given his great form - when he has the right boots on - with goal last night a sign of it this is a big miss. Hopefully it won't cost us.

Still what a wonderful feeling to be where we are on the table right now and playing so much attractive football. Fantastic.

I find myself not being as nervous watching games as I used to. I'm expecting us to get a result, if that makes sense. No panicking if we go behind.

I think the performances help. I mean, we all want us to win, but if we're beaten or held to a draw, as long as we give a good account of ourselves, I'm content.

Everton next, a tough aul fixture. Hopefully get a win, and go top of the league for a couple of hours at least!
