Sources hinting at following Chelsea targets, when the ban ends I suppose.

- Jadon Sancho
- David Neres
- Ben Chilwell
- Nathan Ake
- Moussa Dembele (Lyon striker)

I don't see the top level ability in Neres. Highly skilled technically, but I don't think he's got enough about his game other than tricks and dribbling.

Sancho would be a dream, but let's not kid ourselves here. We won't get him. Too expensive, and will probably have his pick of clubs when he decides to leave.

Chilwell I don't see the need for as Emerson's showing how good he can be. Hard to see Chilwell coming to be a backup, or us spending the money that'd be needed to get him on a rotation player.

Ake I'd only be a fan of if he's brought in as a DM. As a CB I think he's just not good enough for a team with CL aspirations. But as a DM I still think he can be really good.

Finally Moussa Dembele. He'd be one of my top targets as well next summer. We'll need a new striker with Giroud and Batshuayi probably both leaving, and Morata as well to Atletico permanently. He's a very good all around striker, and together with Tammy he'd make for a very good strike force.

I didn't mean to disrespect him :) indeed, CarefreeYouth is the one that posted this, and he usually knows his stuff. I don't have twitter, but his account is probably one of the 2 or 3 I sometimes check.

Didn't mention his name as I didn't want him to get stick on here for being a twitter source (as sometimes info from twitter gets a bit ridiculed on these sites; often with reason, but I do trust CarefreeYouth) .

Having reread the post, I see how it could have came across wrongly, but in no way did I intend to pass this off as my information. I have never tried to do that, and won't start now as I simply don't have access to such information.

Bit of chatter in today’s press that Chelsea are putting feelers out in respect of transfers for January, in other words some are suggesting the ban will be reduced to one window.
If, and a big if that is the case, I would not be at all surprised if there were to be one probably two incomings but to facilitate that several would leave likewise leave.

As for the players listed in the OP.
Sancho. Time will tell but I personally believe if CHO can be tied down and regains fitness he has as much potential as Sancho.
Chillwell is interesting and has the benefit of being HG. I personally like him as a player .
Neres. Don’t know a lot about him but not too sure the sort of position and indeed the type of player he is said to be is an area where we need to be looking at as a priority.
Dembelle. Yes please.

no idea why were are always linked to ake, no better than anything we have. Neres is lightweight and wouldn’t cope, Chilwell is good but why spend the money when Emerson is doing very well, and sancho anc dembele are must haves but would never leave in January.

While I hope and believe our ban will be reduced to one window, I just can’t see us signing many, if any, players this mid-season!

Dembele is a name that keeps getting mentioned on here and has been for a few years. Is he really that good? Have never really had the chance to see him play :)
