Not going to happen.

Obinna, the Spanish source make reference to a UK media source. My guess is it’s the Mirror story being rehashed by Spanish media.

I’m sure we would love to have him at the Bridge but I just can’t see it happening but I hope I’m wrong!

I think you're right TomB, sadly!

There’s no harm in trying which in this case is: going for Oblak by offering Kepa plus money. I think it’s a wise move if the club decides to do that cos you never can tell what can happen in football (if you consider Athletico Madrid financial status) .
Signing Onana or other feasible targets is good but it will still leave us with one problem, which is: how do we get Kepa out? So I think it’s smart- going for Oblak (whom is the best out there by offering Kepa (whom will be fascinated by the idea of going to Athletico Madrid) plus money.

I believe in some impossible transfer but not Oblak doesn't belong there. If the reported interest is true then I expect it to happen. Aterall nobody such fee for kepa and the club do not underestimate the importance of a world class keeper.
So I don't rule anything out just yet as obvious Chelsea will be making the move a for keeper now rather than later.
